But for the sake of Ubuntu, I believe a real fix needs to be found ASAP,

Anders, sounds like you are confirming what I said: The resource
errors went away.
Do you have a PS/2 keyboard plugged in? Also you might need to
enable/disable legacy USB keyboard/mouse support in BIOS. I got stuck
where you are and worked around it this way (I think... it's been a
while).
That typo is present in both Dapper and Edgy. Interestingly, there is
a Debian bug about it, but it was closed and marked fixed in March 2006
in a version older than the one we have in Edgy. So it seems that the
Debian patch got lost somewhere...

As the discussion and tests in bug #66104 shows, what Wenzhuo
experienced is a probably a well known (at least among input method

Could you please attach a sample .svg image that causes this crash, and
does this occur in the main f-spot program, or the f-spot viewer?

Public bug reported:
When I tried to edit things in the advanced settings tab for my Jabber
account (gmail), I noticed that this was not possible. Double-clicking,
right-clicking, pressing enter, etc, did nothing.
The reason I tried editing the settings in the first place is that as

when you told me to do gnome-session-remove nautilus , it dosnt do

I could, but it would be nasty. Instead, I suggest first requiring bug
watches to be associated with a specific bugtask, *then* fixing this
bug. :-)

Summary: we found a case, where vbetool breaks resuming the machine,
whereas the VBERestore code in the xorg i810 driver manages to restore
the inital text mode using the option VBERestore true.
I think it is too late for edgy to consider this workaround. I think
vbetool should be fixed to work

I think that you have connteced the hard drives in a wrong way: at the
first installation your Ubuntu hard drive was connected as slave device
on the primary IDE controller. You didn't attach your second disk as
master, but moved the old one from slave to master and attached the new
one as slave.
video_out.c:1381 is a line number no? That might be some libc bug, the
backtrace has just no totem function so I reassigned to next likely
place, libxine, since the crash happens to vo_get_property
