I don't use LVM yet am seeing the same problem with software RAID. I
just dist-upgraded, reran the update-initramfs just to be sure, and saw
the failure at boot. Package list confirmed below matching the most
recent versions mentioned above:
dpkg -l dmsetup libdevmapper1.02 lvm-common lvm2 mdadm
I've got what looks like a fix to me ready. I think we could possibly
make this fix smarter (e.g. not showing blank displays), but it is fixed
now.

Public bug reported:
Installed feisty beta using Finnish as the language, on the alternate
CD. After installation it says I don't have full support for Finnish. If
I go to language support under administration, I can click the dash on
Finnish to change it to a checkmark. However, clicking either
I also would like to vote for this wishlist. I installed for the first
time Ubuntu (feisty) on another computer and everything was done with
the mouse easily, that is mp3 support (just by using totem), divx,
nvidia install using driver manager I think, samba sharing, ..
But in Kubuntu nothing

Public bug reported:
Hi, I'll attach a screenshot which shows a bunch of localization-bugs on
the Kubuntu (probably the same on Ubuntu) beta live/install-cd for
feisty. With german language, but probably applies to other languages as
well.
* Detail-Window: First paragraph is completely english.
a quick upgrade breaks at least the build of pyspi; didn't check the
packages with python-pyrex as a build dependency in universe. You can
find test packages at
http://people.ubuntu.com/~doko/tmp/
an alternative might be to backport the exception class stuff from 0.9.5
to 0.9.4.
** Changed
Hi all!
I can confirm that this bug is still present in feisty beta.
Thanks

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ntfs-3g
please include the new stable release of ntfs-3g in feisty.
In the 1.0 version, the transfer of large files is very slow. This is resolved
in version 1.328.
Results of this improvement can be seen here:
Thanks for this report. If you know how to reproduce this problem, follow these
instructions (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash) and attach the
backtrace to this report.
However this bug seems very similar to bug 94686.
Thanks for your collaboration.
