why? because default settings of ubuntu smb.conf will allow user nobody

I have this bug on a gutsy -gutsy home network. I suggest that the

I experienced problems especially when using bittorrent, uploading and
downloading a couple of torrents at the same time. The only way to get
it working again was to reboot the computer. With 2.6.24-5, the network
seems to be more stable.

Hi Lamont, I think I've mislead you with the uname() comment. Yes, I
agree postfix calls glibc's gethostname() and it's that which calls
uname(), but the fault appears to lie with postfix's check_myhostname().

Around two weeks ago, this problem appeared on my desktop (gutsy i386)
out of the blue. Only one of my three NFS mounts were mounted.
At first, I typed mount -a -t nfs manually after boot, then I added
this line to /etc/rc.local. But this had no effect. Then I added sleep
10 before the mount
I can confirm this behavior with an up to date Hardy installed from
Alpha 3, Compiz enabled, NVIDIA GeForce Go6200 with nvidia-glx-new.

chose first one, second one, first... kaffeine crashes with the message
(no debugging symbols found)

updatedb is set to run as a daily cronjob, so performs a full index
every morning when I turn the computer on. However, the whole indexing
process can take 10-15 minutes and the computer is slowed-down greatly

I dropped + Updated maintainer field and introduced the new change * Modify
Maintainer value to match Debian-Maintainer-Field Spec
because in the 6.1ubuntu1 version the Debian Maintainer field wasn't correct.
