I removed it again, but looks like something damaged the firmware...
I now reinstalled the linux modules, image and headers and it looks like the

With hardy I have a problem that framebuffer screens (boot up and down) were
displaying blank colored screens cycling through different colors. I found out
that was because usplash.conf that was there by default set the resolution to
640x480. When I changed it to 1024x768

I seem the have a similar problem. I am using a desktop computer with
ubuntu gusty 7.10 gnome. And have bluetooth LT MX1000 leyboard and
MX5000 mouse..
After about 15 min. my bluetooth mouse and keyboard lose connection and
i am unable to reconnect other than sudo hidd --search.

Hi reinstallation of whole system solved the problem..but if you ask, still
having problem with the bug of hard drive cycles... I tried all advices on
all forums i searched thru but still get large amount of heads parking
cycles in short time..
(and of course hibernating the system:-)
