If keyboard shortcuts only affect metacity, how come Ctrl-Alt-L works?

I experienced the same issue during the passage from Firefox 3.0 to
Firefox 3.0.1 : all the menus were in english.
I solved the problem by reinstalling 'language-support-fr'.
By the way, the packages 'mozilla-firefox-locales-XX' should really depend on
Firefox 2, not only on
Erratum : I solved the aforementioned problem by reinstalling language-
pack-fr, language-pack-fr-base, language-support-fr, language-support-
translations-fr and language-support-writing-fr.
I don't know which one solved the bug...
