I just (unwillingly *sigh*) reproduced the bug here on my workstation
(Ubuntu 8.10, 32bit, with all available updates) and a NetApp share.
The first ls showed only 148 of the available 288 files in a directory.
After some more ls (or cp) the kernel crashed.

Great to see this being worked on!!! I have 0.8.1 installed on mine

I do not believe this is a bug. This sounds like you might just need the
proper codec to read and play DVD's. Can you please provide more
information about the issue you are having. Is it just you are unable to
play dvds?

Same issue here: `xrandr --auto` indeed enables the external monitor
with mirroring at a higher resolution than my internal display, but not
at the external display's native resolution. It enables my Dell 2207WFP
at 1600x1024 (3x2), where it should be 1680x1050 (16:10). Unable to
