connecting to RedHat ssh server.
My problem apparently was in the reverse dns. Adding entries for each
system into /etc/hosts worked perfect.

This isn't a bug. The nautilus-elementary and ghtumb PPAs do not support

I have the same problem on a Clevo W230ST based machine running Saucy
13 10. Exactly the same symtoms and print out of ls /sys/class/backlight
both using 3.11 and a 3.8 kernel on a LiveUSB. The keys will reduce the

Hi again. Solution #23 in comment #33 worked for me, so many thanks! For
those who want to try it, here are the steps:
gksu gedit /etc/pam.d/lightdm
Under the first line #%PAM-1.0 paste the following:
session required pam_loginuid.so
session required pam_systemd.so
... then log out and back in
i have copied the installer disks kernel and initrd to my working system
and it (indeed) boots via grub.
so it`s either syslinux which makes it fail boot or grub has something
alongside wich makes it work magically (as the kernel checks for PAE i
wonder, why it boots at all)

Stylus input stops working after resuming from suspend
This bug affects me after a fresh install to 13.10. I have not seen this
happen in 13.04.
Screen freezes every 5 minutes and does not give me back control for at
least 5 minutes. Cannot go back to Ubuntu 13.10 unless this bug is
fixed.

system into /etc/hosts worked perfect.

week. There's a localization file here, used for the datepicker[1] and
there's also a pref in Lightning[2]. I'm pretty sure most OSes also
specify this somewhere, but we don't detect that. I'm CCing one of the

Attached is a first attempt patch to address this bug.
It aligns the buckets yesterday to week boundaries, and adds a lastWeek
bucket.
I need information on where to get the beginning of calendar week
