I am affected with the same bug on my Trusty Thar but unfortunately
solution on post number 14 leads to unable to retrieve shares list so

Based on the fact that flush_tlb_page() appears to be taking up most of
the CPU time when QEMU is 'frozen' I started playing with memory
settings. Disabling automatic NUMA balancing appears to have solved the
problem. echo 0 /proc/sys/kernel/numa_balancing

Following the instructions from post #91 I now have a Lenovo T520 that

But, FN-F4 as well as using Suspend from the XFCE panel will not lock

Well, it turns out that joining Ubuntu 14.04 to Active Directory Domain using
realmd is not an easy task.

While the boot parameter i915.disable-pch_pwm=0 worked on ubuntu 12.04 with
kernel 3.8.0-35.50, it doesn't seem to work for me on ubuntu 14.04 with kernel
3.13.0-24.
I dual boot windows so I cannot enable legacy options rom.
Is there no other solution ?

But: No matter what I set up, closing lid always sends to suspend when
powerconnected, I want to only blank screen.
Oh, and how will I know when to remove the ppa?
