Lubuntu 14.04 LTS on an old laptop (Sony Vaio VGN-B1XP). It was when the
Software Updater was trying to update the kernel that I got this small

Hello, I'm currently running kernel 4.1.20 and I'm experiencing this
exact issue. For the same reasons as above, I can't install the patch
because of the kernel difference. I have tried just adding the firmware
files but that also doesn't seem to fix the problem.

I'm also having this problem copying to an external USB 3 drive, with
Nemo (Cinnamon file manager) copies around 35 MiB/s on my Q6600 CPU.
big_writes helped, but although file copying via Nemo sped up to around
60 MiB/s, it was still CPU bound. Copying via pv < source_file >
dest_file is faster

have evolution installed.

actually, another plan would be to disable just freeipa-server-dns from
the new version.. that would avoid needing pkcs11 in bind9 but still
being able to upgrade current servers, though I'm not sure what happens
if someone has enabled dns before :/

Actual for Xenial.
If I reinstall system with encrypted /home using the same user and use another
password, I can't login in. And the system is unusable.
I think, installer should check before installation begins if there an
encrypted /home for selected user and is the entered password is

I have the exact same bug on up to date 16.04 beta (cannot connect to
a2dp sink but hsp working), but i didn't have the bug before with

I am using the Dell XPS 13 9350 with Ubuntu 16.04, and I am experiencing
random screen flickering where the screen will flicker to black for a
split second. This happens repeatedly every few seconds for half a
minute or so. Then the issue will disappear for a few minutes,
this happend with Trancend TS-RDF8K USB 3.0 card reader that has GL3220 only
4.4-0-16 -generic
