And just for the record I'll add that in the week or so since I
installed the package from the -proposed repository I have had no
recurrence of either of the two symptoms (wrong window displayed on top,
all windows displayed behind desktop background) that I had previously
been encountering every
@JaSauders I think the downside is that restarting NetworkManager, on a
system that doesn't have any problem with network connections after a
suspend event (and that surely must be most systems, or this would be
fixed already) will result in a much slower reconnection to the network.

lower filesystem's inode directly. However the practice of overlayfs is
to only copy up i_uid, i_gid, and i_mode from the lower inode into the

Yes, it appears to be the same bug. It's the FIF_EXR constant that's
wrong.
A temporary workaround is to do this:
FREE_IMAGE_FORMAT exrFormat = FreeImage_GetFIFFromFilename("dummy.exr");
Then using exrFormat in place of FIF_EXR make the problem disappear.

I used to have the same problem after manually installing spacenavd to
use with Freecad.
after that, I get the same error message any time I sudo apt-get update
or sudo apt-get install:
"insserv: warning: script 'S99spacenavd' missing LSB tags and overrides
insserv: warning: script 'spacenavd'

I'm pretty sure this have one origin and it is wifi driver, especially
for intel cards. If you look at the bottom of the discussion on the
mentioned bug, you'll find that problem remains even after change to
another network
