was able to capture a fingerprint and also verify / store it. Any idea
how to use it with sddm / kde though? I have tried so many pam.d
settings but can't get the fingerprint login prompt to show up.

Well. After trying to install the kernel v4.15 kernel[0], the system
boots in initramfs . Seems as if there was not any initrd, so I get
stuck in this point by the moment.

Bugs,
So after installing the new kernel and selecting it in the GRUB menu,
the system boots in initramfs shell. I installed the 32 bits generic
version... May this be another bug? Because this should generate the
initrd and the other needed parts executing the dpkg -i *.deb, shouldn't
it? Best regards
