Well I'm on Ubuntu MATE Xenial now and the indicator applet is quite
different. No notification is shown at all despite the option being

needed to disable the whole ACPI "service", however I don't know how important
apic is. On kernel 4.18 even temperature sensors appear.

The version of fence_vmware_soap included with fence-agents 4.0.22 has
an --ssl-insecure option intended to make it work with hosts using self-
signed SSL certificates, but it does not actually work. In the process
of trying to figure out why I couldn't use a VMware ESX host

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1779237, so is being marked as such.
This is due to some sort of packaging problem - the api-paste.ini from
the older gnocchi version is preserved during the upgrade process, and
the wgsi entry points change.
As a workaround you can switch in the api-paste.ini.dpkg-dist in
/etc/gnocchi.
