The fan of my laptop started going full-throttle and I ran htop to see
why. I see a /usr/libexec/fwupd/fwupd eating 100% CPU for 29:55
minutes.
According to ps -o pid,lstart,etime,cmd the process was started
yesterday at 22:44. The laptop was suspended yesterday at 23:15
gdb is useless without debug symbols:

It always appears, whether booting from USB or DVD.
I have already downloaded ubuntu-20.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso several times, and
created botable USB (as cdfs) as well as burned the image to DVD.
Unfortunately, the same error every time.
Eventually, the installation ends

It's working with just a single `pdflatex paper'.

continue #4 fix typo.
Verify on *Dell Precesion 5750. CID: 202002-27723, with ubuntu 20.04.1.
1. add groovy-proposed source to /etc/apt/source.list
+deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ groovy-proposed main restricted
2. $ sudo apt update
3. $ sudo apt install libasound2
4. Try to modify
It would be really useful if this fix was back ported in to focal, the
packages from groovy don't install on focal as they require a newer
version of libc than is in focal.
I came across this bug while trying to use O365Interative authentication
for davmail and it basically blocks this usage of

I found the issue. The CTKI is an idiot who didn't realize System Volume
is per device, and not global. Only took me 2 days to find out.
I don't think I can close the issue myself, please close it before it
wastes somebody's time.
