Okay so i'm running with the linux-image-oem-20.04-edge kernel now.
Another thing i should mention is that here currently it is morning. in
KSystemLog i couldn't see the beacon error with the standard 5.4 kernel this
morning, only the entries from yesterday night. Then i installed this kernel
I also logout and sleep the PC each night, no reboot except on updates

5.6.0-1036-oem is much more polite than any of the 5.10 candidates you have
provided. 5.6.0-1036-oem boots to the correct configuration and usually
recovers from suspend to the correct configuration. Even better, it
doesn't turn off the dock when suspending or recovering from suspend.

Another QA-test install & error again. (same d755-8 box)
This time I used the "Install System" option in System menu again... and
error.
Two installs that worked used desktop icon, and "Install Lubuntu 20.10"
in menu.
Of note :

a kdb extension instead. I then used kpcli to try opening the kdb file
