Hi,
It seems like this is related to a scenario whereby pulseaudio is
restarted. Without more trace I can't tell exactly where this is going
out. I have tested on my end with the exact same code restarting
pulseaudio loads of times and all seems fine. The last comments alludes
to something to do
This would mean pulseaudio is not waking up from a suspend properly. I
will try to reproduce from this end and talk to the pulse guys to see if
this a known issue or not.

This is a duplicate of 522428 (cannot mark as a duplicate for some
reason). Honestly it seems like an odd bug. Its like the info pointer in
the update callback has become Null just as the callback has been
triggered. The fix is to make the update code safer at this point. Will
keep an eye on this.
I have tested this with only a usb headset and it seems when waking up
from a suspend the sound server switches the default device back to the
onboard sound device. Are you sure the bluetooth speakers have
disappeared or are unselected as the output device to use.

Can you install paman from apt-get ? This will help debugging sound
issues with pulse.
Open terminal and type
>sudo apt-get install paman
then type
>paman
This should bring up the manager which will indicate if pulse is
running.

Could you confirm the filesystem of your install. The problem with this is
Pulse being unable to run on your system.

Please check that you have the indicator sound library (libsoundmenu.so)
in /usr/lib/indicators/3/. If so please kill the service and readd the
applet to the panel (as described above). Then please attach the log
file for the applet to this bug. The log file can be found in ~/.cache
/indic
I suspect this is invalid DB data in the alsa drivers in the newer
kernel. To confirm please remove indicator-sound (this can be installed
again easily afterwards).

Okay this is a known limitation of the IDO lib used in this indicator. I
tried some work-arounds last Friday morning but to no avail. IDO will be
updated with enhanced key listening abilities very shortly which will in
turn resolve this for the inidicator-sound.

The API (Liblindicator) which the inidcator-sound uses expects a
GtkImage as the icon. GtkImage does provide the same fall back mechanism
which Sebastian has pointed to above with GtkIcon. It is a known issue
across all indicators and one which will need to be resolved shortly.

Hi,
So the keys you mention are they supposed to reflect left and right arrow key
movements ?
Currently key mappings handle standard key codes but this can be expanded if
needed.

To be honest Martin nothing has changed. I have been watching for it
closely. But have not seen it even once on 64bit or 32bit. Nobody else
