The big problem is that when I try to update/install anything else, it
will try to upgrade the emailmerge package and then freeze. I don't
really care about installing or using emailmerge, i just want to be able

I just tried installing the generic kernel and i think it installed.
After installing, it jumped right back into the emailmerge update and
froze. I then manually shut down my compter, restarted it and tried to
load the generic kernel, but there was no generic kernel to
select...only the rt kern
I can't boot the generic kernel because it's not installed on my system.
I installed Ubuntu Studio 9.04 and there is no generic kernel. No matter
what i try (synaptic or terminal), I can't installed the linux-generic
package because the installer jumps right back to the openoffice.org-
emailmerge u
Please let me know if there's a way to install the generic kernel
without having the installer jump to "openoffice.org-emailmerge"
upgrades. I really don't want to reinstall ubuntu studio from cd again.

It didn't work before, the password field being 'missing in action' is

The Current version will not connect to WPA3-SAE secured Wi-Fi without that
commit (being able to connect to WPA3-personal secured Wi-Fi is the whole point
