This bug has been haunting me for ages, that task and memo previews
aren't word-wrapped. Now it's fixed, and I'd really like to see a stable
release update for hardy, since this improves usability quite noticeably
and is obviously safe.

Doesn't look that way, for some strange reason. Well, there are some
security issues with the NX technology as is, but those seem to be
theoretical, not practical. Packages are able to display confirmations,
so that shouldn't reallt prevent it from being available in the repos.

ntfs partition using partition magic 8 in windows, and I got some
problems with the ext3 filesystem. I used e2fsck and answered yes to a
couple of questions and after five minutes, everything was back to

Beta versions and pre-releases aren't meant for the masses though. This
must not happen after release. Perhaps there should be two update
release cycles; one early for advanced and experienced users, and one
for "normal" users. That way, such update bugs could be trapped before
it does any harm.

I disagree. The updates that are made available to the users should be
safe. You can't assume that it isn't. However, if the main update was
delayed only a few hours, then alot of users would be able to update and
report any bugs.

I don't see the problem. This is easily configured using Keyboard
shortcuts. This is not Windows, and users should not expect things to be
the same. In Ubuntu, you can choose the button yourself, in Windows you
cannot. You just have to learn how to use the system. It doesn't take
