I'd like to re-open this bug. This still doesn't work and id *does* seem
to be a problem with Unity. I'm on 13.10 with the latest Orcacle Java
and the latest Minecraft build. Running it through compiz (i.e. Unity)
has the fullscreen issue. Running Minecraft in Gnome Shell our without
any DE at all
That is because the bug is not only caused by the plugin load-order.
Changing the load-order is a workaround that sometimes works. The
problem is still in the unity-plugin.

I don't see how a corporate environment profits from installing non-LTS
releases or using an obscure PPA (no offense Bruno) to get rid of this
bug. This bug (and the many bugs resulting from the commit that causes
it) makes 12.04 kind of unusable for many people. All options are on the

If I understand correctly bug #689733 was just an incorrectly set
shortcut (super+w was set to scale all viewports instead of scale
current viewport). The solution (again, if I understand correctly) was
to hack scale all viewports to display only

As far as I can see the offending commit is just reverted in 12.10 and
the shortcuts are set correctly. This fixes everything (tm).

unity-panel-service memory leak and 100% CPU usage
Can we please re-open this bug? There is no released fix that ever
worked for me. I'm on 14.04 development, fresh install and I still
experience this bug following the original steps to reproduce:
- minimize window
- show scale (super+w)
- hide scale (super+w)
- click on window in launcher

There is no option to choose the language at login. I'm reporting this
as a new bug (instead of LP: 803858) because this is specifically a
regression in trusty.
