the loadvm/savevm commands in kvm work unreliable for me. Loadvm tends
to cause problems in the client virtual machine, I see random segfaults

Please let me know about the result from a memtest. Even if the machine
works fine most of the time a bitflip error might cause this kind of
error. A upgrade stresses the machine a lot more than regular use.
