I got R form Ubuntu version 2.6.2. The r-cran-kernsmooth is also from

Problem has two endings:
1. Hard crash. Very thing stops
2. Connection disappears but is shown as connected. Disable wireless network
and enable it again to make it work.

Download a newsgroup en watch Linux dying within 10 minutes. The Cpu goes to
50% (=100%), applications become unresponsive, but the screen applets come up.
E.g. I can select restart, but noting happens. Then

Both processes did not show up in the applet system monitor. Strange,
why are they hidden and using 100% cpu?

- two times Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in signal handler called() -- flaged
as nvidia-graphics-drivers bug.

- enabling bluetooth with a Logitech mx100 mouse will activate the global menu
drop down entries if you hover them. That is not the default behavior
- unity stops responding to single and double clicks.
On my machines it is still a problem in Miro.
Ubuntu 11.10 on a Thinkpad W701.
Machine(!) crashes when playing the Google Tech Talks rather randomly.
Black screen. Mouse can be moved, but I have to do a hard reset. Sound is
sometime continuing but stops later.

As far as I know, running 2.6.30-rc6, I did not see this error. Upgrading from
2.6.28 to 2.6.30 fixed the error. A lot of errors.
But I do not see every error anymore...

[OpenOffice] Poor performance after resume from
I have to retract my last observation. It happened again today on Ubuntu
10.10 64 bits.
The strange thing is that the standard cpu panel indicator is giving a
50% (=100% of one cpu) reading and the systemmonitor does not show
anything in the cpu usage.
The total machine is afterwards very slow.
Yes on Ubuntu 10.10 64 bits as per october 27, 2010.
Moreover, the are a lot of duplicates. Am I free to mark this as a
duplicate? What are rules to pick a 'master' bug?

Sorry, made a mistake. I am using butterfly and not gabble.
Butterfly has sometime the same problem, using 100% cpu. I can not find
any logic in it.

On a Dell Latitude D505 running Ubuntu 10.10 we can trigger this error by:
1. Downloading a file with Transmisson. Network stops within 2 minutes.
2. Downloading two Youtube files the same time. This is more randomly. A heavy
workload seems to trigger a disconnect.
Before 10.10 we had no

So do not use the workspace, but the running programs bar.
It does this just to begin and the end. It does not roll over.

I installed kernel 2.6.37 on a Dell Latitude 505. The wireless
connection is stable. No problems anymore.
I used this kernel:
