I am a litte bit surprised: Bacula is NOT an universe package and a LTS
to LTS upgrade is broken (8.04 to 10.04). But noone takes care of this
issue - even after 2 years...
And yes, I am affected by this problem: An upgrade from 8.04 to 10.04

Seems to me no bug at all...
dpkg forced me to do a
sudo dpkg --configure -a
which made the situation clear to me - my user defined samba config
interfered with the standard one...
Only a feature request remains: update-manager has to bring up the real
dpkg message.

(2.6.32-20-server - 2.6.32-21-server), some updates to
apparmor/profiles and libvirt.
Since some days I've 100% cpu load with 10.04 guest and host (4 cpus,

power-manager to turn the screen off after 6 minutes. Sometimes the
screen turns black (backlight still on) and sometimes the screen doesn't

Sorry for the confusion. Mouse and keyboard work ok but special
features don't work. Meanwhile I have switched to generic
international keyboard which solved some of the problems with sound
control.
Xorg.conf tells me that everything is now configured in Hal. Where do
these hal rules come from

The description of the intel driver starts with Experimentel
modesetting So if i810 is obsolete I guess changing the text to
something more informative for each driver would be useful.
I've changed and will be back to tell if there is a difference.

Well, the intel driver is still experimental as far as I'm concerned.
I could not make it show a higher resolution than 640x480. Timo, from
where did you get that i810 is obsolete? Obsolete or not it works...
I have nothing new to add to the behaviour of OO.o.

1. start sabayon
2. make some profile, select it

This is not a bug but something for the wishlist, I hope you don't mind.
It would be very useful to make dolphin open a location in a second
panel (split view) when you wheel-click it. Kinda like opening a tab.

I don't know whether this is a bug or just a missing feature, but if
it's the latter, the interface is misleadingly offering an action that's
not implemented right now.

So there's no chance this split-view thing will get fixed until Kubuntu
comes with KDE4? I don't know the details, but it doesn't seem like a
huge thing to fix, is it?

Step 2 can be replaced with update the system normally or install a
package normally. It fails very often and requires the user to run
dpkg --configure -a leaving them with a system they can't update or
install any packages on.
