[Bug 1693521] Re: brcmfmac: Direct firmware load failed
Thanks, I used same workaround on Debian for similar problem. # cp /lib/firmware/brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt /lib/firmware/brcmfmac43455-sdio.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1693521 Title: brcmfmac: Direct firmware load failed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1693521/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1693521] Re: brcmfmac: Direct firmware load failed
Not sure if it is a fix per se but it appears to just be looking for the presence of a .txt file by that name. I created brcmfmac43602-pcie.txt in the proper directory and just typed gibberish into it. I rebooted, re-ran 'dmesg | grep error', and found that the error is gone. Bluetooth seems to work just fine. Or at least my bluetooth mouse is connecting and working correctly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1693521 Title: brcmfmac: Direct firmware load failed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe/+bug/1693521/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
