This one was reported more then half year ago and was fixed. I am sure that you have other reason why login does not work... Please open new bug. .xsession-errors these days does not include much I think. Does journalctl has something to say? journalctl _COMM=gnome-flashback? journalctl

Well from my perspective it's not fixed, but if it is, yes, then I should open a new one. Yes I've checked all logs I can find, syslog, auth, kern, lightdm, Xorg, .xsession-errors. My main suspect is "lightdm: pam_systemd(lightdm:session): Failed to create session: Connection timed out" from

I updated recently to bionic, am on gnome-flashback 3.28.0-1ubuntu1.2, but cannot login. Am also using ldap. When reinstalling gnome-session-flashback I got "gnome-session-flashback.target is disable or a static unit is not running, not starting it." I've been on it for days.. -- You received
