Title:
Can not start Flashback session in Bionic after recent updates.
To manage
This one was reported more then half year ago and was fixed. I am sure
that you have other reason why login does not work... Please open new
bug.
.xsession-errors these days does not include much I think. Does journalctl has
something to say?
journalctl _COMM=gnome-flashback? journalctl
Well from my perspective it's not fixed, but if it is, yes, then I
should open a new one. Yes I've checked all logs I can find, syslog,
auth, kern, lightdm, Xorg, .xsession-errors. My main suspect is
"lightdm: pam_systemd(lightdm:session): Failed to create session:
Connection timed out" from
sekateur, you should open new bug no comment on already fixed bugs...
Have you tried to login in other sessions? Have you tried to use new
user? Have you looked at log files to see if there is something?

I updated recently to bionic, am on gnome-flashback 3.28.0-1ubuntu1.2, but
cannot login.
Am also using ldap.
When reinstalling gnome-session-flashback I got "gnome-session-flashback.target
is disable or a static unit is not running, not starting it."
I've been on it for days..
