I'm torn between what to do here. The specs and description most
clearly refer to bash only for this package. But I guess it could be
confirmed as wishlist.
Sarah, does zsh have a command_not_found handler?

command-not-found does not suppress zsh error message when a command is not
found
I guess I can answer my own question here:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/all/command-not-found/filelist lists
/etc/zsh_command_not_found.
Confirming as wishlist, please let us know if this is fixed in Jaunty.

Importance: Undecided = Wishlist
It seems that bash has now grown to support zsh behaviour (although
gives the output in the opposite order). Marking as fix released.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
Bugs, which
I would assume it should be fixed, so that the behaviour is consistent
between bash and zsh, as c-n-f says it supports both.

You received this bug notification because you
I'm not sure I understand the issue entirely. Since asd seems to be something
you've written or acquired elsewhere, you are saying that zsh is incorrectly
reporting an error?
Please list the exact steps to reproduce this issue.
Can you reproduce the error with files other than asd?
** Changed
OK, I think I understand now. I was unfamiliar with the command-not-
found package. Since the description of the package is Suggest
installation of packages in interactive bash sessions, and you are
operating in a zsh session, NOT a bash session, I have to conclude that
this is not really a bug.
I don’t have an opinion about whether this is something that should be
fixed, but the behavior of command-not-found is definitely not
consistent between bash and zsh.
wolfger: command-not-found ships the functionality for zsh as well.
‘asd’ was just an example of a command that is not found.
