SunBlade 1500, OBP 4.17.1 gives the same errors reported by Patrick
above. Cold reboot makes no difference. OBP 4.9.5 would allow for a cold
boot using netinst. NB Same error results using Etch release on this
hardware.

Agreed, I don't really see the justification for this begin medium.
People lose essays etc., it is a usability issue leading to data loss.
Is there any way to to get a link to the upstream bug report at firefox
bugzilla through launchpad? I'd be interested to see why they rejected

The change of the binary names to libevolution2.0-cil occured after freezes in
Feisty, so were not included.
This will get kicked to NEW, but its the right time to do so.

This seems to be a fairly major sticking point for some people. DMA is
pretty vital. From what I can tell from reading up on the issue, it
seems to be a kernel / libata problem. I have assigned this to kernel-
bugs in order to at least get someone who will know more looking into
it.

This is due to a missmatch of kernels in fai-kernel and *ubuntu.
fai-kernels has 2.6.17 and ubuntu feisty 2.6.20. In the ubuntu
kernele the new libata drivers are used. They name the drives
sd*. The older 2.6.17 drivers named them hd*.
As a work around until fai-kernels uses 2.6.20 you can
