Hi,
I don't know if it is a fresh installation (Marverick) or an upgrade (Lucid
=Marverick) but if it is an upgrade i have certainly the solution.
When we have created the manual we have used the Gnome denomination (i.e.
2.0.1-4) and when Openshot has been accepted by Debian and Ubuntu, we have
closing the maverick task as wontfix, doing SRU for bug 665526

Thanks. I'm already aware of the issue with gtkImage stuff, it's
actually due to libappindicator which doesn't seem to allow composited
images (which NM uses extensively for lock icon for VPN or secured
connections, for animations, etc.). Reassigning to indicator-
application.

My recommendation (as upstream) is that you compile Qt with run-time-
detected Neon support. That is, do not enable -mfpu=neon everywhere, but
let Qt detect that the compiler supports this option and enable only for
the *_neon.cpp files.

I was about to report a bug on this but will add my two penny's worth
here. I really, really like Unity. I think it's a great development, but
this issue makes using it difficult. One of the things I would really
miss from Gnome is the way that removable media like USB sticks and the
like are

I can confirm this as well: top panel always looks awful after a reboot;
generally takes numerous logout/login cycles to get clean theme; fast
system w/nVidia, i7 and SSD:

Core i7-840QM Processor ( 45nm, 8MB L3 Cache, 1.86GHz )

I've seen setups using EAP/TLS (certificates), and I've seen setups using
PEAP/MSCHAPv2 (with login/password).
Side remark, considering how long such bugs have been open (and even Fedora 14

not sure what to put in here, ubuntu reported a crash after an update
and asked if I wanted to file a ticket on this crash? This crash after
update seems to happen all the time or at least on every update that
requires a reboot.
