Solved the mystery. My mtu was set too high for my provider (alice),
which seemingly confused dropbox.

Apoorv have you tried resetting the CMOS after you installed the latest
BIOS? also a list of BIOS settings would help mainly the ones for Hard
drive and CPU and Memory. Cheers.

MyDoom, So your saying you can't boot into linux if you have 2 drives
one with linux one without? If that's so then switch the drives so the
linux one is first and then change the grub entry to also point to your
windows install.

I'm having the same type of issue as above. As i have a different

Problem solved. Seems it's a settings bug. I haven't been able to
reproduce it (setting maybe a ghost one). But to solve issue.
Update BIOS (to the latest)
Clear CMOS
Check Boot (Make sure it also goes into OS)
Re-enter BIOS settings

restricted ubuntu drivers, but the result is the same.
What I also found out, using a wrong password gets logged on my radius server

Hello,
I have exact the same problem, when trying to connect to my wpa2 entreprise
(peap) network, everytime my system freezes and the only solution is hard reset
(capslock/scrollock blinks). I didn't check other access points. The same
machine can connect using a zd1211 wnic.

i believe i have the solution, have you guys been playing with themes
lately.
i have been changing my themes in gnome and i have changed everything to
the basic stock look, and guess what everything is working fine now.
