After the latest kernel updates, I am getting the error in the subject
line at boot up. Initially it wouldn't boot up at all and dropped to
some sort of minimal shell, but I could still boot to the old kernel
and I found a workaround which was to turn off UUID in grub. Does

I set this back to confirmed, as this appears to be a regression. I
cannot disable the Move Window key binding in Karmic. I don't know what

I am trying to work out what's going wrong here. It appears that the
command which calls the dvi viewer has an at the end which seems to be
causing it to fail. To work around this you can put the following line
in your .vimrc:
let g:Tex_ExecuteUNIXViewerInForeground = 1

The root cause of this is a bug in Vim itself. This has been fixed in the patch
7.2.097. So you can either compile Vim yourself including the patch, or wait
until it makes it into Ubuntu (which might be some time). Here's a link to the
mailing list thread where it was discussed:
