installed the package and patched /usr/share/perl5/smbldap_tools.pm but
to no effect - I'm getting the same error despite rebooting? I've just

reference, the error points to line 322 of
/usr/share/perl5/smbldap_tools.pm and the adjustment suggested above is
to line 324 - after the line 322 else that's causing the trouble?

I get this as well. I login to a virt term and sudo pkill Xorg. This
prompts me for a login again, but at least it then goes to the desktop.

Tremaine Lea's solution didn't quite work for me - killall pulseaudio,
sudo killall pulseaudio and sudo kill pid didin't work.
Sudo kill -9 pid did work, as did restarting pulseaudio return sound
to amarok.
Annoying bug none the less, since it's obviously been around for a
