Due to the error report var/log/syslog and var/log/partman are the
reason for the crash.
The system is a IBM x31 Thinkpad, the11.04 live

I have two COMMITs, and masquarading still does not work; for ufw
version 0.30pre1-0ubuntu2 (lucid).
Also, my /etc/ufw/sysctl.conf file had slashes instead of dots in all option
names:
After ufw installation I found in it:
net/ipv4/ip_forward=1
net/ipv6/conf.default/forwarding=1
etc.
After setting DEFAULT_INPUT_POLICY=ACCEPT (default was DROP)
in /etc/default/ufw, everything finally works.

Actually, it worked after all. One has to INSTALL the binaries. At
first I just run debian/rules build, and tried to run the resulting
gramofile binary without any other actions with the results reported

This actually happens whenever vim source a runtime script, eg:

will cause the ABRT.

I had exactly the same problem on jaunty (Dell Mini 9).
I solved it by installing gstreamer0.10-alsa that is not in the list of
dependences of cheese (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/i386/cheese).
After this cheese works well (at small screen resolutions).

Now Felix patch works for me too.
Updated X.Org some days ago with automatic updates.
Then applied the patch and everything is working fine.

Hi everybody,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop with ATI HD2600.
Same problems as for everyone else.
Kubuntu 9.10 final and official ATI 9.10 driver.
I tried to install the Felix patch (by miself and with ppa provided by k0ekk0ek
#291) and did NOT worked for me: kubuntu totally freezed on

отключить запросы, разрешить доступ по умолчанию?
Смотрел в Полномочиях - нет раздела Evolution.

Есть одноранговая домашняя сетка, в сети с компьютера с UBUNTU 9.04 виден
NMT-плеер как smb://hdeyeshot/.
На плеере Linux, для управления есть веб-интерфейс.
Чтобы поставить на закачку торрент, можно открыть в браузере (FF) страницу

Написал скрипт для резервного копирования, в т.ч.с такой командой:

Получаю сообщение об ошибке:

Переношу файлы между двумя машинами, на одной Linux Ubuntu 9.04, на
другой Win XP.
Большинство каталогов и файлов имеют кириллические имена.
Архивирую с помощью 7-zip.
В Linux 7z иерархия каталогов открывается, но файлы - нет.
В zip-формате часть имен каталогов и файлов в Linux
