Não há relato de problemas no LTS 10.04, pelo menos que eu saiba.
Mas com o driver desinstalado remova o xorg.conf ou apague todo seu
conteúdo. Talvez consiga uma interface mesmo que sem efeitos.

Ok, desculpe, eu tinha o .deb baixado do rc 2, agora no rc 3 ele não
traz mais um pacote único .deb e sim vários .deb
entre pelo Terminal na pasta DEB e dê o comando: dpkg -i *.deb e aguarde
a instalação, após isso entre no outro diretório DEB (pacotes de
linguagens ptbr) e faça o mesmo.
sudo dpkg -i --force
var/cache/apt/archives/libreoffice-l10n-pt-br_1%3a3.3.0~rc2-3maverick2_all.deb
Fim do problema, próximo ?

Eu baixei a nova versão e instalei e não ocorreu este erro. Não deu esse
erro porque (eu acho) eu removi tudo referente ao OpenOffice (uri, libs,
etc) antes de instalar o LibreOffice tanto do RC2 como o RC3.
Ou então corrigiram o problema!
