As a workaround for nautilus-renamer - install the Nautilus-Actions
Configuration Tool, create a new action and in the Command tab set the
path to /usr/share/nautilus-renamer/nautilus-renamer.py and the
parameters to %U (a space separated list of the file/folder URIs which
correctly encodes spaces
Though, the Unity code doesn't seem to use HSplitter or VSplitter. Also,
it doesn't call QueueRelayout on any InputArea objects, which seems to
be the only other way for an InputArea object to be put on the layout

The production machine hasn't had a lockup since moving to
3.15.7-031507-generic (it's been up for 4 days) even though we could
reproduce the lockup on a new machine with that kernel using a snapshot

NO, not all HDA codec allow you to change Mic Jack into the headphone
jack, usually the notebook have utilialized the volume controls of the 4
or 6 channels codec and don't have any spare dac or amp for the extra
headphone
Could I please get someone to look at my new documentation bug #1351826
regarding the lack of upgrade notifications and the failure to mention
so in the release notes. A lot of people are wondering why they're not
yet able to upgrade from Precise.

I have the same problem. I have a DELL XP with 8GB and a AMD Radeon 5700
XOrg will grow to take up around 5-6 GB every 24 hours. I have to kill Xorg
with sudo restart lightdm daily.
The issue only started after I upgraded from Ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04
Please help !

As Niclas Lockner (niclasl) said it occures when there is a fake cd on
it(like in mypassport hdd). With other flash drives everything is ok.
