You may have gotten the distroseries wrong. If so, you may get warnings

nd quickly realized how
much other stuff related to it was broken. Most of my MOTU related work
now sits in the media stack, with apps that will affect a myth based box
and media apps (including those that aren't necessarily used on a myth box).

So is there a reason that this all happened? Is there an intention of
the mp4v2 packages coming back?

It's a bug with launchpad's hardy buildd's. I reported it in
#ubuntu-devel last night too. Hopefully when the Canonical employees
that have root and manage the buildds get back after the holidays it
should be taken care of.

are to do this, a UVFe will be
necessary. Rather than filing regular UVFe requests from Jan/Feb until March,
it seems better to just ask if we can do the regular updates during Hardy
development this way.
Is this alright with members of motu-uvf?
Thanks,

The license on the software allows redistribution, the questionable part
then becomes copyright and/or patents in some locations. If users are
supposed to verify their rights to use software in multiver
anges.
Before just going out there and making these drastic changes, we wanted to
get input from the rest of the MOTU team to see what the thought of this
would be. So what do people think?

Jordan,
As I mentioned in #ubuntu-motu, I've been using the PPA service for some
time now for the mythbuntu builds. I'll be glad to help with this
PPA/packaging 101. After a few more people respond, propose a few times on
