Hello everyone,
Ubuntu-RTM testing continues! Yesterday we have produced the krillin
image no. #234 (and its mako and x86 counterparts) and passed it off to
QA. So far it passed sanity and most regression testing so things are
looking really good. We'll have the full test report tomorrow, but we

Hi everybody, just a quick heads up.
I'm going to be rolling out some new code into CI Train production
today, including a rewrite of the source package building logic. The
rollout should be quick, I only expect a few minutes downtime, but

It also supports proper reminders now, meaning, if you tag a note with

From my experience with porting Ubuntu Touch to the Samsung Tab 2 7.0,
unsupported devices (everything except the official devices) are COMPLETELY

Hey.
I found a bug on the bq RTM image r17.
Steps to reproduce
1 turn on camera application
2 switch to video recording mode
3 swipe from the bottom and turn on LED light
4 tap to focus
5 light turns off unexpectedly
Can anyone else reproduce this? Is this a known bug?
Thanks

FWIW, I really want Ubuntu Touch to succeed. I'm hoping to read an

But, it has been difficult to not feel that porters have been ignored,

Thanks for your responses.
The porting guide has been down for almost 3 months now. Of course
applications are important, but I think that porting the OS to more devices
is essential for its adoption.
Recently I read the Tizen porting guide. Unfortunately the comparison is

Hi John,
Sorry to hear about your frustration about lack of support about your port.
I can assure you that folks (be it Canonical employees or volunteer
developers) do care about _any_ contribution to Ubuntu. I'm personally very
thankful that you joined us when we first launched the porting
