Hi all.
I really was waiting to show my friends my phone on a big tv in windows
mode and a bletooth mouse + keyboard.
But I have a bq e5 and I have just understood from previous mails that will
not be the case...
Is there any good reason why this will not be implemented on bq terminals?

Does anyone know if still active and/or the status?
I think that would be a nice application too.
Thanks in advance.

In a couple of weeks I will go to Japan.
Does any of you know if the bq Aquaris E5 (ubuntu edition, of course) will

Hi to all.
I normally go with my bike through the mountains.
As my time slots to do so normally does not match my friend' s ones, I
usually have to go alone.
As is relatively easy to have an accident, in my previous Android I had an

When, from the file manager I try to open a video (I just can .mp4, but
that' s another issue), it gives me the option to do so through the gallery.
Then, after selecting the gallery, it takes around 1 minute to show me the

Thanks for the suggestion.
However, renaming to mpg just warns me that no application can open it!

Hi to all.
I have a question regarding convergence. My apollogies if is too basic but
I' m not a developer!
I undrestood the convergence target is like a unique code for all the

That should mean that any application should work independently if is being

But I do not understand why these are created every time a pen drive is
connected!
Is there any way to avoid such a behaviour?
Thanks in advance!

Hi again guys.
I often use the phone to watch movies thus I store these on the SD and I
play these with the media player (by the way, easier with OTA 10!).
I have realized that when I do so, a local copy (...phablet/Videos) of the
movies is stored!
I do not want to use the mobile memory to

Hi to all.
I need your support again.
When I use the windowed mode and I maximize one, then I can not
'un-maximize' it.
Not sure if that is a bug or simply I have not found the appropriate
gesture.
Please, can you help me?
Thanks in advance.

Hi to all.
Soon I will have being using my bq ubuntu edition for 1 year.
Of course there are pros and cons. But I understand the main "claim".
I'm sure from update to update there are many OS improvements and new
convergent improvements. I do congratulate Ubuntu team as must be a tough
task!
Hi to all.
Let me ask a basic question. Might be due to some misunderstanding of the
messages I have been reading.
It seems UT is getting benefit from Android drivers. I guess to reduce the
development cost and time.
If so, I assume it means that UT will somehow depend on Android? At least

Hi to all.

Basically, these applications do no longer open.

Just to add that I faced non sense battery behaviour (thus wrong charge
indications) from mobile new BUT specially from OTA13. And the battery does

It does not mean the OS is efficient as in normal use I can use the mobile
for 3 days or more. But the charge
Hi to all.
With my bq E5 OTA 13 I can also confirm that such an annoying battery

If I can provide logs or support to help resolving this issue, I will.

Hi to all.
In line with Peter, it would be extremely encouraging to heard some comment
from Ubuntu giving us visibility of the coming mimesstones.
If there is some secretism due to bussines protection, just some positive

Hi Jo-Erlend.
Does anybody from Ubuntu confirmed your assumption?
I have never read it (tough I have not read everything) and this is why we

We have "sacrified" some of our phone functionalities to happily support

Hi to all.
I have a bq e5 and the behaviour of the numerical keyboard becoming blank
and normal happened me during 1 week.
After that, with no special action nor sofware installation / removal, that
behaviour disappeared.
