Hi Istimsak,
the 'netboot' series uses tasksel to install a choice of desktops (amongst
other options). Do run sudo apt-get update before running tasksel in order
to see the full list of Desktops available.
Only lubuntu now supports alternate from the desktop releases.

Hi Scott,
I know one the lubuntu-ppc testers was testing kubuntu-ppc. I've cc'd this
to lubuntu-qa to ask if anyone can help. The bug seems surmountable and
warrants a release note. But, I'm not your release manager :D
@lubuntu PPC testers, lubuntu PPC (desktop and alternate) are now good for

Hi folks,
the release team have finally squished a critical bug[1] As such, all the
ISO's are being re-spun. Hopefully, (famous last words), for the last time.
I know respins this late are a pain, but it is only done for critical
issues, this bug being such an issue.
Regards,
Phill.

Hi Istimsak,
if you install the system, just keeping it updated (e.g. using apt) will
take you all the way to 'final release' without the need of a re-install.

Phill.

Can you clarify exactly when a new iso image is required and when just
using apt-updates is sufficient for testing?
