What version is Lucid's apache2.2-bin a backport of? I just tried with the
last 2.2.15 version and the permissions are 644 rather than Ubuntu's 600. I
did this by way of replacing mod_dav_fs.so as described below.

use 'console'. Has non-root ever been able to use virsh console ? If so,

Oh well, first guess was wrong. The kernel config is fine. The problem
is with qemu. The kernel became too big for qemu.
Edit the qemu file source file hw/arm_boot.c
Change this define to something bigger:
