 - Please use 3.0 (quilt) source format for clean and standard patch management.

 - Disabling "make check" (override_dh_auto_test) is a bit sad -- when
running "make check" it fails with "unable to infer compiler target
triple for clang". Is there any way to run the tests with gcc? If not,
should this get a clang build dependency? If that doesn't work, please
add a comment to debian/rules why tests can't/shouldn't be run.

 - W: go-race-detector-runtime source: dep5-copyright-license-name-not-unique 
(paragraph at line 35)
   Indeed you used "License: Expat" with two different license texts, AFAICS 
mostly due to including the copyright into it (which shouldn't happen -- that's 
what Copyright: is for). It's usually best to just say "License: Expat" in all 
Files: stanzas, and have a separate

  License: expat
..blabla long text

  stanza at the bottom, to avoid repetition.

 - There are several missing copyrights in debian/copyright, e. g.
./lib/BlocksRuntime/Block.h has "Copyright 2008-2010 Apple, Inc." and
the license is BSD.

Re the qemu changes; the issue will be for upgrades - for example, in
vivid, the qemu binaries include rbd support - however an upgrade and
reboot to wily with the situation as it is now (or even with
Recommends/Suggests) would result in instances which cannot access block
devices that they could before.

So the libvirt bug for wily should still be marked as not fix released?

You said you are don "1.2.16" - to be sure, were you on 1.2.16-2ubuntu9
or later?

If so, do you have any idea which patches are still missing?  The
upstream patchset which was supposd to fix this was included with that
release, so I wonder whether the bug is actually still present upstream.

Problem is in bind9 itself, it occupy port before dnsmasq!
listen-on-v6 { any; };

My solution was to strictly set ipv6 addresses that bind9 should use.

I've tested this  libvirt fix on simple 1 controller and 2 compute nodes 
multinode devstack setup.
Both compute nodes have libvirt in version 1.2.16.

After removing check which is in this patch 
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/176768/ I still cannot successfully complete
block migration of vm with attached volume.

However, the same instance booted from image without any volume attached
is successfully block migrated.

I think there is some confusion here. As I understand it, the part that
was fixed in libvirt was changing the API so that now it is possible to
define a subset of block devices to be copied during migration. Now to
fix the original issue, another patch in nova will be needed, that uses
this extended API to avoid copying shared block devices to itself.
