Public bug reported: Hi, memcached daemon has an option to specify custom character as the delimeter between key prefixes and IDs. # character cannot be used because of limitation of /usr/share/memcached/scripts/start-memcached. This doesn't cause a problem ordinarily, but because you have /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash, lxc-net failed to start. This bug has been fixed in quantal, and the fix is being backported to precise, but is still going through the verification process.
