[Bug 997978] Re: KVM images lose connectivity with bridged network
I updated qemu-kvm package from ppa:ubuntu-virt/kvm-network-hang. I started next test to load network on VMs - On VM 1 : % nc -k -l 0.0.0.0 4242 /dev/null On VM 2: % cat /dev/zero | nc IP 4242 There is no problems with this VMs from 12/Sep/2012 . [Bug 1054035] Re: Adding default user fails due to lack of 'netdev' group
I'm not sure I understand. The way to handle this in cloud-init now is just to be more explicit with your user-data or config (/etc/cloud/cloud.cfg.d). #cloud-config groups: - foogroup users: - name: ubuntu primary-group: foogroup Then you'll get what you asked for. In the past if the user 'ubuntu' did not exist, it would not be created at all. Now, if no 'users' item is specified in config, then it expects that the default user can be created. So, since that default user cannot be created, it is at least arguable that the right path is to fail. [Bug 978127] Re: incorrect time on node causes failed oauth
I just committed a fix to trunk that I believe should address this. Its based on the suggestion in comment 13. Basically, if we fail by 403 unauthorized, we set a skew (skew = local_current_time - server_response_time) and future requests will have the oauth header time adjusted by that skew. ** Also affects: cloud-init (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to cloud-init in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/978127 Title: incorrect time on node causes failed oauth To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-init/+bug/978127/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1055892] [NEW] keepalived does not honor use_vmac directive
Public bug reported: As of precise/quantal, keepalived does not honor the use_vmac directive. Expected behavior is for keepalived to synthesize a virtual mac address to go along with the virtual IP address. This is important in situations where systems do not accept gratuitous ARP as a means to fail over a virtual IP address. I have built a version against the latest upstream (1.2.7), which does honor the use_vmac directive as expected. below follows an example of how it should look (see 6:): 1: lo: LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo inet6 ::1/128 scope host valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever 2: eth0: BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP qlen 1000 link/ether 08:00:27:36:14:4f brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet 192.168.4.105/24 brd 192.168.4.255 scope global eth0 inet6 fe80::a00:27ff:fe36:144f/64 scope link valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever 3: virbr0: NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state DOWN link/ether a2:20:3b:c0:e0:1a brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet 192.168.122.1/24 brd 192.168.122.255 scope global virbr0 6: vrrp.90@eth0: BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN link/ether 00:00:5e:00:01:5a brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet 192.168.4.200/32 scope global vrrp.90 inet6 fe80::200:5eff:fe00:15a/64 scope link valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever ** Affects: keepalived (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to keepalived in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055892 Title: keepalived does not honor use_vmac directive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/keepalived/+bug/1055892/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
