It's clearly not the normal content. This may be caused by a disk error,
memory error, system crash, ...
To recover you can try the following:
- edit the file /var/lib/dpkg/info/winbind.prerm
- add exit 0 (without the quotes) as 2nd line.
- run:
$ sudo dpkg --purge winbind

The file /etc/init.d/winbind seems to be broken. Could you please try to purge
and reinstall the package:
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge winbind
$ sudo apt-get clean
$ sudo apt-get install winbind
And tell if it helps.
