list from server problem may me related to the lack of samba package on

Actuall problem is tftpd-hpa trying start before any interface have IP address,
so if you look closely at syslog you will find such messages. cannot resolve
local IPv4 bind address: 0.0.0.0, Name or service not known.
So only workaround so far is change /etc/init/tftpd-hpa.conf to add sleep 10
Nikolay has spotted the problem, same here...

stopped lxc from starting? I can't reproduce that here, unfortunately.
Do you have autostart containers defined? (what does ls -l
/etc/lxc/auto show?)

If you still care to debug and provide that output, that would be great.
But if you aren't using lxc anyway, and simply wish to remove it, you
can do:
sudo apt-get purge lxc
You can also leave lxc installed, but stop it from starting
Unfortunately unable to collect such log files due to the nature of the
bug and changes since to bring systems back to working order.
I might have further info I could give - if there are specific questions

Actually I'm not quite sure why it would have tried to create that file.
Can you tell us which release you are on, and post your
/etc/bind/named.conf and /etc/bind/named.conf.local files?
(We don't want to risk opening permissions for what turns out to be a
bug in bind9 itself)

open-vm-dkms
I usually use ssh for tunneling a TS connection. After update my
conection frozen after a while, usually after a fullscreen update on
remote PC, console is frozen too. Sometimes, conection defrozen after a
minute, but most times frozen forever and I need to kill SSH process and
reconect again.
