As long as there isn't a real relationship between Ubuntu Studio and hellotux, you shouldn't create the impression. The shop is allowed to sell clothes with the COF, that's all. What exactly is it good for, to announce that they sell clothes? It might be common practise to collect friends and link against the whole universe, on those idiotic (anti-)social networks, I already doubt that this is something good, but spreading such "news" is something else. You even don't know if they are or will become sharks. If there's no relationship, then don't care about them. Re: [ubuntu-studio-devel] Trusty .5 release
One of my early open source mentors says often: "The great thing about open source is that you go to bed with a problem that needs fixing (or work still to do), and find in the morning that someone fixed it for you" Thanks to Kaj, Stefan Bader & Andy Whitcroft, I have just come home to discover that the Ubuntu Studio Trusy 14.04.5 ISOs have been tested and marked as ready. Thanks guys! Cool! keep us posted and we'll sort it out with cfhowlett :) About my "activism", I was thinking it could be could to let the team know what I am doing now and why I am less active. Anyway, I am still around :-) It is very nice of you to share, indeed. :) I'm sure many in the group would like to teach FLOSS multimedia in a University, i certainly would. @Len, I already have the permission, yes. But it is important for me to ask you: I am not alone to be involved with Ubuntu Studio. And btw, I also know that my contributions are less visible: I teach how to use open source software to produce audio and video at the University in my area, I run my small music label with Ubuntu and Mixbus or Ardour. And most important, I work for open source editors since 2013, and now for the Eclipse Foundation.
