i actually had a problem like similar and i had the medibuntu repos, i think it's ffmpeg or avconv related. to test my dvd's before burning, i mount the iso and use mplayer. i think the fix was to uninstall and compile ffmpeg from source. i haven't made a dvd in a while though. On Mon, Jan 21,
