I was experiencing this same issue on the dell mini 9. It seemed that it
was working again with the compiz/unity updates (minus that every now
and then the image on the screen would freeze indefinitely whilst the

i have the same error messages on my hpz600 which has a Nvidia geforce
gt 220 running pangolin using noveau
it has dual screens , 1 vga and 1 hdmi and i haven't unplugged them for

I just had the same problem. I was changing workspaces with keyboard
shortcuts. The workspace display box stayed on top of the screen, but it
was dull. Switching tty showed as though everything was working
