I am seeing lots of graphical glitches in KDE on the latest xorg stack
using a new MBPr 13 Haswell. The glitching can be seen on unity as
well, but its harder to catch as it only appears for a split second at
the title bar.

I can use it like a normal trackpad and use two finger scrolling, but if
I try and use any of the gestures that require more then two fimgers, it
stops responding entirely. In order to get it to respond again I have to
either restart X or by clicking one of the hardware

One and two finger actions work fine, but the moment a third finger is
introduced, all movement ceases. The click buttons still work, but all
movement on the trackpad is ignored. You can still use another mouse to
move the cursor around. This issue reproduces in Unity as well
I am no longer able to reproduce this with the latest Ubuntu 12.04 using
unity or gnome-shell.

display locks up when a third finger touches the Apple Trackpad

I've attached the requested dmesg output. This is a fresh install and I
cannot remember whether I ever closed the laptop lid while it was hooked
up to an external display.
The key issue here is that when I close the lid, the display turns off,
but it is not removed from X causing applications to
Mutlitouch not working in xorg-edgers might be a new bug however, as
when I try and drag a window with three fingers, the mouse cursor
becomes stuck in the top left corner. I can work around it by attaching
another mouse, however, touching the touchpad will result in the cursor

I see the same problem when using my Apple Magic Trackpad with my
desktop. Touchegg doesn't seem to do anything anymore, but it does start
up and runs without errors, it just isn't receiving any input signals to
act on.
