works fine.
Now i have only my ibm lotus notes (8) burning my cpu on startup.even with

Ah, I have found your problem in your Xorg.0.log.old. You do not have a
/etc/X11/xorg.conf which makes xserver use a default detection logic and
it has some problems with intel KMS when it is a module in that fbdev
tries to take over and crashes the server. it's most likely because
intelfb/vesafb

I wasn't aware that you could use the FX 5200 with 180.xx driver
release. Maybe you are using the 173.14.xx release too?
I'm don't think I'm able to try it the other way, i.e 173.14.xx on the
newer system as I don't think that release supports the 9 series GPUs.

I cannot get wireless network working on LiveCD (first I connected to
LAN, installed offered Broadcom B43 wireless driver, but after logout
and even after restarting networking service, network manager would not

Sweet, this will help a lot. Jesse has a mechanism in mind for being
able to detect when it is in this state and trigger something, so once
that's in place we can hook this in. I'm setting this to wishlist since
it's a new feature, but this should be a high priority to get in soon

to-date Jaunty. The problem seems independent of the driver used: nvidia
173, nvidia 180, nv, even running the live cd without installing a
driver. The problem occurs only using Jaunty.

Upstream has closed the bug because they can't reproduce it and believe
it to be fixed. For that reason, and since there has been no comment or
testing feedback on this in a couple months, I'm closing this bug as
