[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 982889] Re: X trying to start before plymouth has finished using the drm driver
I had this bug on 12.04 and now have it on 12.10. 64-bit Thinkpad X220, Core i7 (2nd gen) and Intel 320 SSD, with external monitor. Bryce's workaround in comment #5 seems to have fixed it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libdrm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/982889 Title: X trying to start before plymouth has finished using the drm driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/982889/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 554839] [NEW] Using multimedia/function keys clears xset repeat settings
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg I swap my caps lock and backspace keys using xmodmap, and I use xset to change the repeat settings accordingly. This all worked fine in Ubuntu 9.10. In 10.04 beta 1, the repeat settings for caps lock and backspace are lost whenever I use the multimedia keys or brightness keys on my keyboard. Then I use xset again and they're fine until I touch one of those keys again. To repeat: 1) run xset -r 22 xset r 66 2) observe changed repeat settings in caps lock and backspace keys 3) press multimedia buttons 4) observe repeat settings have reverted My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 9400. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 188308] Re: colemak is broken

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 188308] Re: colemak is broken
Is this really a bug in xkeyboard-config, the keyboard configuration files? I don't think so. The layout works fine if used as the default and only layout in gnome-keyboard-properties (except for the issue that the key doesn't repeat). The problem occurs if trying to switch between layouts in gnome- keyboard-properties...the caps lock behaviour is not properly set in this situation. I find that if I start off with colemak as the default and switch to a standard layout using the applet then the colemak caps lock behaviour (as backspace) persists. If however I start off with a standard layout and switch to colemak I get the strange bug where the caps lock key is both caps lock and backspace at the same time. Perhaps this is a bug in gnome-keyboard-properties. -- colemak is broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188308 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
