Christopher, this bug affects Libreoffice 3.5.1 and Libreoffice 3.4.4. When I try to reproduce this bug with Libreoffice 3.4.4 after install LO3.5.1, remove LO3.5.1, reinstall LO3.4.4, I found LO3.4.4 exit silently after displaying the splash, should it be a separate bug? Hello, after strace on Libreoffice, I've found the problem in #6 and solved the issue by clean remove my previous installed Libreoffice beta packages. After that I find the original bug can reproduce on gnome classic without effects as well.
