I disagree with the statement. It's like saying: there are too many colors in
the graphics program. Building a collection like that is long and difficult
But i agree with the situation in the sense that, if we ship this many fonts,
we could also ship a better organized font-manager. For example w
I am against removing fonts, unless they are broken. Inkscape is a slowstarter
but it has never crashed on startup due to fonts on my machines. This written,
we can still try to make the font-situation better. :)
The fontmanager setting allows us to blacklist fonts in an xml file:
~/.config/font
What ever the technical solution is, as to how, when and where the user
activates the fonts, i believe in classifying them. Having the "poster"
fonts separated from the "traditional" ones would be great, for example.

In user preferences, under the "File" tab, you will find a field
labelled "Save Versions". Here you can choose how many auto-save files
blender should keep. To enable auto-save, still in the user preferences,
under the "File" tab, tick the "Auto Save Temporary Files" box (should

This is happening to me too, the field is present in the indicator, but
the icon is absent. Since i use only one layout, i hid it. Which
resulted in the indicator-keyboard being up for autoremoval when using
